We’ll introduce:
- Sit, down, and stay
- Loose-leash walking
- Come when called
- Leave it
- Redirection techniques and real-life management strategies
This class is about more than manners—it’s about enhancing your relationship with your dog through clear communication.

New to Freedom Canines? If you have not attended a class with us before, you will receive a YouTube link upon registration. This link serves as a very important first class. We explain some basics of dog training, discuss equipment and management techniques to help you get the most out of class. Former students are always welcome to join for a refresher.
Equipment: Please do not bring dogs on all metal collars, including choke or pinch collars. Harnesses, head halters, flat collars, and martingale collars are all welcome.
What to Bring: Motivation is key to successful training. Please bring bite-sized, high-value treats. Treats your dog likes at home may not be enough in a class environment. Some great options include cheese, chicken, hot dogs, and meatballs. Variety is helpful, and you can mix in lower-value treats. If your dog loves toys, you are welcome to bring those as well.
Registration Notes: Registration is per dog, not per person. Please only add one person when registering. Multiple people may attend with one dog at no extra charge. Adding additional people during registration will result in an additional charge.
